How to create an image background in Microsoft Word.?
I created an image in Adobe Photoshop at 72 dpi and sized it to 8.5 x 11. I saved it as a jpeg. When I format background and insert picture, my image does not cover the entire page. Why is that?
I’m trying to create an ebook and want this image to be my background that covers the entire page with no border. I tried increasing the size but it went off the page. I tried making it smaller but it then imported in tile manner.
What size should an image be created at for this to work?

Thanks to you three for the help, but I’m still lost. Maybe I’m not explaining it right.
I created an image and I need it to cover the entire page as the background. Tried putting it in the header, footer, tried the other advice but still no luck.
Any other thoughts. Can I maybe e-mail the image to someone for you to try?
Or can someone instant message me on Yahoo at “leadership29″ and walk me through it?

try to change the alignment of the image from the image format box (when you double click the image) choose something different from ‘align with the text’ and choose ‘center’ alignment from below.. if it doesn’t work edit page margins for the page you will insert the image in
