Is not it just a PDF ebook?

What's all this talk of e-book compilers, etc? I am writing an electronic book and approaching completion. I was just going to convert to PDF for online distribution even though I've been hearing a lot about these converters e-book. Can anyone shed some light?

Depends on the e-book. A lot of eBay are. Most stores have a choice on the format when it was purchased. Some are proprietary. It all depends on what you want.
