Text-based ebook help, please!?
I am completely new to the concept of “ebooks”, but I got a new phone that has a text-based ebook reader. I cannot find any text-based, everything seems to be PDF, and loaded with pictures.
I also thought that maybe I could make one or two of my own, just to see how it looks on the phone, and I cannot find any instructions online on how to make text-based ebooks!
Please, can anyone help me find a site to download (preferably free) text-based ebooks or help me make a few? Thanks!
Your best bet for free text-based ebooks is probably Project Gutenburg (www.projectgutenberg.org).
For information about creating ebooks, I would recommend MobileRead (www.mobileread.com). The folks over there are experts in everything ebook and I know there are threads in the forums regarding creating ebooks.
